Blender 3D Modeling for Kids (8 Sessions)

Blender is the FREE and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation.

Blender is a great tool for students and kids to draw realistic 3D objects. This course provides an overview of modeling, animating, and rendering 3D graphics in the open-source software Blender.

Age Group: 12-15 years old

Lesson 1 Intro/Refresher. Installing Blender, and get used to the layout of Blender.

Lesson 2 Beginning to use Blender to edit meshes, and create objects.

Lesson 3 More advanced blender building concepts.

Lesson 4 Blender Modifier, Modeling, Sculpting. Shaping our Object: Build/Improve donut look, by duplicating, modeling, and sculpting it.

Lesson 5 Rendering, texturing. Perfecting the look of our object: Donut coloring/texturing complete, make it look realistic.

lesson 6 Geometry Nodes, Random colors in nodes, Animation Create node that make sprinkles on the surface of the donut), and create an animation with the donut for a render.

Lesson 7 Animation, Lighting, Compositing, how to move the model to Roblox Create a final rendering with animations, lighting, and compositing to create an amazing final video. Exporting the Model to Roblox for development.

Lesson 8 Rendering, Final render video. Finalize the Rendering process, and create a final video that is saveable and shareable!

Lesson 9 Review/Quiz day, and Project Work Time.

Lesson 10 Walkthrough final projects and Presentation of Projects day.
