Course Description

A leader plays a vital role in employee development, and depending on the impact of the intervention, he/she can make or break their employees’ engagement, which would in turn affect their work performance. This course explores how to drive team performance through coaching. It explores the process of coaching, the roadblocks along the way, the drivers of team performance, among others.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand clearly the impact of effective coaching on employee engagement and work performance
  • Identify obstacles that hinder successful coaching; formulate and employ necessary measures to overcome them
  • Determine instances when you need to lend your ears and offer advice
  • Formulate relevant, appropriate, and effective coaching questions and answers
  • Devise situation-oriented coaching plans
